Configuring NIC Replication (SRC CLI)

You configure NIC replication to keep the NIC configuration highly available.

Before you configure NIC replication:

• Make sure that you understand how NIC groups are used.

  See Locating Subscriber Management Information.

• Identify which NIC hosts are to provide redundancy for each other.
• Select a name for a group for each of these hosts.

To configure NIC replication:

1. From configuration mode, access the configuration statement that specifies the configuration for the agent.
   [edit]user@host# slot number nic

   For example:

   [edit]user@host# slot 0 nic
2. Configure the runtime group for the NIC host.
   [edit slot 0 nic]user@host# runtime-group runtime-group

   For example:

   [edit slot 0 nic]user@host# runtime-group group1
