Configuring the Network Publisher (C-Web Interface)

Before you configure and run the network publisher, see Before You Configure and Run the Network Publisher.

To configure the network publisher:

  1. Click Configure, expand Slot, expand the slot for which you want to configure the network publisher, and then click Network Publisher.
  2. Under Network Publisher, click Directory.

    The Directory pane appears.

  3. In the main pane, review the configuration and make changes as needed.
  4. Click logger entries, and configure logging as you would for any component.
  5. Click Routers, and in the Main pane, specify the release number of the Junos OS.
  6. Under Routers, click Authentication.

    The Authentication pane appears.

  7. Enter authentication properties as described in the Help text in the Main pane, and click Apply.
  8. Under Routers, click Select.

    The Select pane appears.

  9. Define the routing tables and elements in those routing tables from which the network publisher collects information.
  10. (Optional) Configure a specific router from which the network publisher collects routing table information. The network publisher uses the router-specific properties for specified routers, and applies the general routers properties to all other routers.
    1. In the Routers pane, select Router in the Create new list.
    2. Type a name for the new router in the dialog box, and click OK.

      The router name appears in the side pane and the Routers pane.

    3. Enter router properties as described in the Help text in the Main pane, and click Apply.
    4. Under the router, click Authentication.

      The Authentication pane appears.

    5. Enter authentication properties as described in the Help text in the Main pane, and click Apply.
    6. Under the router, click Select.

      The Select pane appears.

    7. Define the routing tables and elements in those routing tables from which the network publisher collects information.

After you configure the network publisher, run it to collect routing table information.
