Associate the CSN with the Leaf Devices
The Contrail Services Node (CSN or TSN) is used to provide DHCP and DNS services for VMs and managed BMSes. In this section, you enable CSN function on the leaf switches to support DHCP address assignment to the BMSes and VMs.
- From the Infrastructure > Fabrics page, click the fabric that you created earlier. In this example, you should select the DC1 fabric you created earlier.
- Click the ellipsis (...) for the Leaf that is connected to the Cluster server and select Edit.
- Click to expand the Associated Service Nodes section.
In the Virtual Router Type field, select contrail-service-node from the list.
In the Existing TSN field, select your cluster server from the list.
- Click Save.
- Repeat these steps on leaf 2, which also has an attached BMS.
