Obtain SCB Hardware Information
To obtain SCB hardware information:
- Display the SCB Hardware Information
- Locate the SCB Serial Number ID Label
- Display the SCB Firmware Version
Display the SCB Hardware Information
Purpose
To obtain the SCB hardware information.
Action
To display the SCB hardware information, use the following command:
user@host> show
chassis hardware

Meaning
The command output displays the SCB version level, part number, serial number, and description.
Locate the SCB Serial Number ID Label
Purpose
To locate the serial number ID on the SCB.
Action
To locate the SCB serial number ID label, look on the SCB board toward the front panel. See Figure 1.

Display the SCB Firmware Version
Purpose
To display the firmware version running on the SCB.
Action
To display the version of firmware running on the SCB, use the following CLI command:
user@host> show chassis firmware

Meaning
The command output displays the type and version level of the firmware running on the SCB.
