Action

The SFC CHASSIS NUMBER and CONFIG SIZE are settings on physical switches located on the left side of the craft interface.

  1. Verify that the SFC CHASSIS NUMBER switch is set to 00.
  2. Verify that the CONFIG SIZE switch is set to 0 for the TXP-T1600 configuration, or 3 for the TXP-T1600-3D configuration, TXP-T4000-3D configuration, or TXP-Mixed-LCC-3D configuration.

The CONFIG SIZE dial has options to set it from 00 to 0F. Valid values are 00 to 07. Values from 08 to 0F are read as 00 to 07. While values 00 to 07 are valid, you must set a value of either 03 or 0B for the TXP-T1600-3D configuration, TXP-T4000-3D configuration, or TXP-Mixed-LCC-3D configuration. All other values are invalid.

    Note

If the CONFIG SIZE is set to any value other than 03 for the TXP-T1600-3D configuration, TXP-T4000-3D configuration, or TXP-Mixed-LCC-3D configuration, SFC Config Size Changed alarm is raised. If the CONFIG-SIZE is set to a value 2 or 3 other than 0 for the TXP-T1600 configuration, then also , SFC CONFIG-SIZE changed alarm is raised.

  3. If either switch is not set correctly, see Setting the Configuration Size and Switch-Fabric Chassis Number.
