Troubleshooting the TX Matrix Plus TXP-CBs

 

Problem:

Description:

The following alarms or LEDs indicate a problem with the TXP-CB:

  • An alarm indicates that a TXP-CB has been removed or failed as shown in Table 1.

  • The OK LED on the TXP-CB is off.

  • The FAIL LED on the TXP-CB is lit green when the host subsystem detects a fault.

Solution

To troubleshoot the Control Boards:

  1. Use the show chassis environment cb sfc 0 command to check the status of the TXP-CBs. The state should be Online.
    user@host> show chassis environment cb sfc 0
  2. If the Control Board is offline, bring the Control Board online.

The text in the column labeled ”LCD Message” appears in the display of the craft interface. The text in the column labeled “CLI Message” appears in the output from the show chassis alarms command.
