Monitoring the SRX100 Services Gateway Components Using LEDs

 

Table 1 describes the status of the LEDs on startup of the device.

Amber

Indicates that the device is starting up.

Alarm LED

Amber

Indicates that the device is starting up for the first time since no rescue configuration is set.

Note: When the system is up and running, if the Alarm LED is off, it indicates that no alarms are present on the device.

Power LED

Green

Indicates that the device is receiving normal power supply.

HA LED

Off

Indicates that the device is not part of chassis clustering set up.

The LEDs available on the services gateway display the status of various components. Table 2 describes the LEDs.

Green

Indicates that the device is functioning normally.

Normal condition. No action is required.

Amber

  • Indicates that the device is starting up.

  • Indicates that the Reset Config button is pressed.

Normal condition. No action is required.

Red

Indicates that an error is detected in the device.

Alarm LED

Red

Indicates a major alarm.

Major alarm indicates a critical situation on the services gateway that requires immediate action. See Monitoring the SRX100 Services Gateway Using Chassis Alarm Conditions.

Amber

Indicates a minor alarm.

Minor alarm condition requires monitoring or maintenance. If left unchecked, it might cause an interruption in service or degradation in performance. See Monitoring the SRX100 Services Gateway Using Chassis Alarm Conditions.

Off

Indicates that there are currently no alarms.

Normal condition. No action is required.

Power LED

Green

Indicates that the device is functioning normally.

Normal condition. No action is required.

Amber

Indicates that the Power button has been pressed and quickly released and the device is gracefully shutting down.

Normal condition. No action is required.

Off

Off indicates that the device is not receiving power.

Normal condition if the services gateway is switched-off. No action is required.

If you have not powered off the services gateway, verify that the AC power cord from the power source to the device is not damaged, the socket is in working condition, and the device has an AC input voltage between 100 and 240 VAC. See Monitoring the SRX100 Services Gateway Power System.
