Displaying TX Matrix Plus SFC and LCC Alarm Messages Information

When the Routing Engine detects an alarm condition, it lights the red or yellow alarm LED on the craft interface as appropriate, trips the corresponding alarm relay contact on the TXP-CIP, and reports the cause of the alarm in the craft interface LCD. You can display more information about the error messages associated with the Alarm LEDs and craft interface LCD by issuing the CLI show chassis alarms command.

To use the CLI to display details about alarms generated by interfaces and hardware components:

  1. Issue the show chassis alarms command without the sfc option to display all alarms in the routing matrix.
    user@host> show chassis alarms
  2. Issue the show chassis alarms sfc 0 CLI command to view a more detailed description of the alarm cause.
user@host> show chassis alarms sfc 0
