Powering Off the T640 Router
To power off a T640 router:
- On the external management device connected to the Routing
Engine, issue the request system halt operational mode
command. The command shuts down both Routing Engines cleanly, so their
state information is preserved. (If the router contains only one Routing
Engine, issue the request system halt command.)
user@host> request system halt both-routing-engines
