Configuring Logical Interfaces for the AX411 Access Point Ports
Use one of the following procedures to configure a logical interface on an SRX Series Services Gateway port to which an AX411 Access Point is connected:
With the Command-Line Interface
To configure a logical interface on an SRX Series Services Gateway port to which an access point is connected using the command-line interface (CLI):
- If you have not already done so, establish a console connection with the SRX Series Services Gateway as described in the hardware guide for the services gateway, and log into the CLI.
- Enter configuration mode:
- For each physical interface to which
an access point is connected, configure a logical interface and an
IP address:

With J-Web
To configure a logical interface on an SRX Series Services Gateway port to which an access point is connected using the J-Web interface:
- If you have not already done so, start the J-Web interface by browsing to the IP address or hostname of the SRX Series device.
- Choose Configure > Interfaces.
- In the Interface Name column, click the physical interface to which the access point is connected.
- In the Logical Interfaces area, click Add to add a new logical interface.
- In the IPv4 Addresses and Prefixes area, click Add to add an IPv4 address to the logical interface.
- In the IPv4 Address and Prefix box, type the IP address for the interface.
- Click OK.
