Configuring the SRX 210 Services Gateway Mini-Physical Interface Modules
To enable the Mini-Physical Interface Modules (Mini-PIMs) installed on your SRX 210 services gateway to work properly, you must configure their properties. You can configure a T1, E1, SFP, and ADSL interface using:
- J-Web Quick configuration editor
- CLI configuration editor
J-Web Quick configuration editor
To configure Mini-PIMs with J-Web Quick configuration editor:
- In the J-Web user interface, select Configuration > Quick Configuration > Interfaces.
A list of the network interfaces present on the services gateway is displayed.
- To configure properties for a network interface, select the interface name and proceed with configuration.

CLI configuration editor
To configure Mini-PIMs with CLI Configuration editor:
- On the CLI configuration editor, use the statements
in the interfaces configuration hierarchy to configure interfaces
on the device as shown below:
show interfaces <interface-name>
Example: user@host> show interfaces ge-0/0/1.0
- The status information and statistics about interfaces
on services gateway are displayed.
