Switch Fabric Module LEDs in an EX9208 Switch
The Switch Fabric (SF) module has three LEDs on the module faceplate. Table 1 describes the functions of these LEDs.

LED | Status | Description |
|---|---|---|
FABRIC ACTIVE | Green | Switch Fabric is in active mode. |
Unlit | Switch Fabric is offline. | |
FABRIC ONLY | Green | On steadily—Switch Fabric operates in fabric-only mode. |
Unlit | Switch Fabric in SF module operates in fabric/control board mode. | |
OK/FAIL | Green | Switch Fabric is online. |
Red | Switch Fabric has failed. | |
Unlit | Switch Fabric is offline. |
The BITS, GPS, and UTI LEDs, located next to the EXT CLK port, indicate the status of the respective clocking interface. These LEDs are not supported.
