T320 Chassis Grounding Cable and Lug Specifications

 Warning

Power plant ground and chassis ground must be connected to the same building ground.

You must provide grounding cables that meets these requirements:

  • The cable must be able to handle up to 75 A.

  • 6-AWG (13.3 mm2), minimum 90°C wire, or as permitted by the local code

Caution

Before router installation begins, a licensed electrician must attach a cable lug to the grounding and power cables that you supply. A cable with an incorrectly attached lug can damage the router.

The cable lug shown in Figure 1 is required for the grounding cables and for the DC power cables.
