    Chassis Component Alarm Conditions on EX3300 Switches

    This topic describes the alarm conditions on EX3300 switches.

    Table 1 lists the alarm conditions on EX3300 switches.

    One fan in the chassis is not spinning or is spinning below the required speed.

    • Check the fan.

    Red

    Both the fans in the chassis are not spinning or are spinning below the required speed.

    Replace the fan.

    Red

    Temperature

    The temperature inside the chassis has exceeded 95° C (203° F) or has exceeded 85° C (185° F) and one or more fans has failed.

    • Check the fan.

    Red

    The temperature inside the chassis has exceeded 80° C (176° F) or has exceeded 70° C (158° F) and one or more fans has failed.

    • Check the fan.

    Yellow

    The temperature sensor has failed.
