Control Plane Connections from the TX Matrix Plus Router to the Line-Card Chassis
UTP Category 5 Ethernet cables provide the control plane connections
between the RJ-45 LCC CTRL PLANE
ports 0
through 7
on the TXP-CIPs in the
TX Matrix Plus router and the SFC 0
port on the
LCC-CBs in the line-card chassis (LCCs). The maximum length supported
is 100 m. The UTP Category 5 cables do not have to be the same length.
The cable wiring is straight-through (not crossover).
Table 1 shows these connections.
