Line-Card Chassis LCC-CBs
An LCC-CB on the line-card chassis (LCC)works with an adjacent Routing Engine to provide control and monitoring functions for the LCC (see Figure 1). These functions include determining Routing Engine mastership, controlling power and reset for the other LCC components, monitoring and controlling fan speed, and monitoring system status. Each LCCcontains up to two LCC-CBs at the upper front of the chassis.
We recommend that you install two host subsystems for redundant protection.
