Monitoring the SRX240 Services Gateway AC Power System

The LEDs on the SRX240 Services Gateway enable you to determine the performance and operation. The Power LED, located on the front panel of the services gateway, indicates the different settings with respect to the power system.

Table 34 describes different Power LED status indications and the required corrective actions.

Meaning

Possible Cause and Corrective Action

Green

The services gateway is receiving power, and the internal power supply is functional.

Normal indication. No action is required.

Yellow

The Power button has been pressed and quickly released. The services gateway is shutting down or starting up.

Normal indication. No action is required.

Off

The services gateway is not receiving power.

  • Verify that the AC power cord from the power source to the services gateway is not damaged. If the insulation is cracked or broken, immediately replace the cord or cable.
  • Ensure that the socket you plug in is in working condition.
  • Ensure that the an AC input voltage is between 110 and 240 VAC.
  • If you cannot determine the cause of the problem or need additional assistance, contact the Juniper Networks Technical Assistance Center (JTAC).

Monitoring the SRX240 Services Gateway DC Power System

The back panel of an SRX240 Services Gateway with DC power supply model has two LEDs that indicate the status of the dual feed for the integrated DC power supply.

Table 35 describes the LEDs on the DC power feeds on the SRX240 Services Gateway with DC power supply model.
