Installing the SRX110 Services Gateway in a Rack
You can front-mount the SRX110 Services Gateway in a rack. Many types of racks are acceptable, including 4-post (telco) racks, enclosed cabinets, and open-frame racks. To install the device in a rack:
- Position a mounting bracket on each side of the chassis
as shown in Figure 15.

Table 29 lists the parts used for installing the device on the rack. The numbers in Figure 15 correspond to the numbers in Table 29.

- Use a Phillips (+) screwdriver, number 1, to install the
screws that secure the mounting brackets and power supply adapter
tray to the chassis as shown in Figure 16.

- Place the power supply adapter in the tray as shown in Figure 17.

- Have one person grasp the sides of the device, lift it, and position it in the rack.
- Align the bottom hole in each mounting bracket with a
hole in each rack rail as shown in Figure 18, making sure that the chassis is level.

- Have a second person install a mounting screw into each of the two aligned holes. Use a Phillips (+) screwdriver, number 3, to tighten the screws.
- Install the second screw in each mounting bracket.
- Verify that the mounting screws on one side of the rack are aligned with the mounting screws on the opposite side and that the device is level.
