Overview of Installing the JATP700 Appliance in a Rack
You must proceed through the installation process in the following order:
- Review all safety guidelines and warnings for the JATP700 appliance. See, General Safety Guidelines and Warnings.
- Unpack the JATP700 and verify the parts received. See, Unpacking the JATP700.
- Install the JATP700 appliance in a 19-in. four-post rack. See, Installing the JATP700 in a Rack.
- Ground, connect the power, and power on the JATP700 appliance. See, Connecting the JATP700 to Power.
- Connect the JATP700 to external devices. See, Connecting the JATP700 Appliance to a Management Device.
