The security device administrator can create a MIB filter and bind it to an SNMP community. The administrator configures the MIB filter to include or exclude an IP address entry from the following MIB tables:

ipNetToMediaTable
ipRouteTable
To Create a New MIB FilterEnter the following information:
MIB Filter Name: Specifies the name of the MIB filter that is configured to filter overlapping private IP addresses between security devices existing in the same domain.
Type: Indicates the filtering type. The default is IP.
Action: Determines the action on the filtered IP address. Select either Include or Exclude.
Include: All IP addresses in the domain, except the one filtered, are excluded from the MIB table.
Exclude: All IP addresses in the domain, except the one filtered, are included in the MIB table.
Note: The MIB filter can be configured to either include or exclude an IP address, but not both.
Click Apply to save your new MIB configuration settings.
To Add IP Addresses and Netmasks to a MIB FilterEnter the following information:
IP: Enter the IP address of the security device that appears to be in conflict with another device address in the domain.
NetMask: Enter the netmask based on the entered IP address.
Click Add.
