Mode Config Profile Settings and Configuration

The device administrator can create a mode config profile, which contains the information required for Internet Key Exchange (IKE) such as IP pool, DNS, and WINS.

The following lists the mode config profiles configured on your security device and the following information for each:

Profile Name: Specifies the name of the mode config profile.

IP Pool: Specifies the IP pool of the mode config profile.

DNS

IP1: Specifies the primary DNS IP address of the mode config profile.

IP2: Specifies the secondary DNS IP address of the mode config profile.

WINS

1: Specifies the primary WINS IP address of the mode config profile.

2: Specifies the secondary WINS IP address of the mode config profile.

Configure: Click Remove to delete the mode config profile.

To Create a New Mode Config Profile

  1. Enter the following information:

Profile Name: Enter the name of the profile.

IP Pool: Specify the IP pool.

DNS

IP1: Enter the primary DNS IP address of the mode config profile.

IP2: Enter the secondary DNS IP address of the mode config profile.

WINS

IP1: Enter the primary WINS IP address of the mode config profile.

IP2: Enter the secondary WINS IP address of the mode config profile.

  1. Click New to add a mode config profile, or click Cancel to discard the changes.
