SNMPv3 Community Configuration

The administrator can simultaneously configure up to 32 SNMP communities along with 32 SNMP targets. The community and target are related by the community Tag.

To Create a New SNMPv3 Community

  1. Enter the following information:

Community Name: Enter the name of the group, or community, of administrators who can view data gathered by the SNMP agent and receive SNMP notifications of system events. The community name must less than or equal to 32 characters.

Tag: Enter the tag of the community name. The tag name must less than or equal to 32 characters.

  1. Click OK to save the new SNMPv3 community.
