You can use the baseline interface commands to establish a baseline for Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, or 10-Gigabit Ethernet statistics on a line module or an SRP module. The router stores statistics in counters that reset only when you reboot. However, you can establish a baseline for Ethernet statistics by setting a group of reference counters to zero.
To set a baseline for Fast Ethernet interfaces, issue the baseline interface FastEthernet command:
