Syntax

[ no ] nsf t1 { interval [ seconds ] | retry-times [ number ] }

Release Information

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Specifies either the interval, in seconds, between IS-IS restart requests sent by a restarting router on a particular interface to neighboring IS-IS routers in the network, or the number of times the restarting router resends unacknowledged restart requests on this interface at the specified interval. The no version restores the default time interval, 5 seconds, or the default number of retry attempts, 3.

Options

  • seconds—Time interval in the range 5–300 seconds between transmission of IS-IS restart requests; default value is 5 seconds
  • number—Number of times in the range 1–10 that the router tries to resend unacknowledged restart requests; default value is 3
