ipv6 dhcpv6-local delegated-prefix

Syntax

ipv6 dhcpv6-local delegated-prefix ipv6Prefix
[ lifetime { days [ hours [ minutes [ seconds ] ] ] | infinite } ]

no ipv6 dhcpv6-local delegated-prefix

Release Information

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Specifies the IPv6 prefix and lifetime that is to be delegated, when requested, to the DHCPv6 client on this interface by the DHCPv6 local server. This lifetime overrides the default lifetime that is set in Global Configuration mode. If no lifetime is specified, the default lifetime is used. The no version removes the IPv6 prefix from the interface.

Options

  • ipv6Prefix—Prefix that defines the IPv6 interface
  • days—Number of days in the lifetime; in the range 0–32768
  • hours—Number of hours in the lifetime; in the range 0–24
  • minutes—Number of minutes in the lifetime; in the range 0–60
  • seconds—Number of seconds in the lifetime; in the range 0–60
  • infinite—Assigns a lifetime that does not expire
