Syntax

ip ssh authentication-retries retryLimit

no ip ssh authentication-retries

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Sets the number of times that a user can retry a failed authentication (such as trying to correct a wrong password) before the server terminates the connection. The no version restores the default value, 20 retries.

Options

• retryLimit—Number of times authentication can be retried after the initial failure within a given connection attempt
