Syntax

ip dhcp-server dhcpServerAddress [ adminStatus ]

no ip dhcp-server [ dhcpServerAddress [ adminStatus ] ]

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Adds the IP address of a single DHCP server to the list of DHCP servers from which the router can request addresses to allocate to remote users. A maximum of five DHCP servers can be specified. The no version removes the specified DHCP server or removes all DHCP servers from the list.

Options

• dhcpServerAddress—IP address of the DHCP server that will allocate addresses for remote users
• adminStatus—One of the following options:
  • disable—Disables the DHCP server
  • drain—Drains the DHCP server
