clear line

Syntax

clear line { absoluteLine | cliType relativeLine }

Release Information

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Removes all services on any line on the system and closes any files opened as a result of services on that line. There is no no version.

Options

• absoluteLine—Absolute number of the line to which the user is connected; see the line number field in the show users command output
• cliType—One of the following types of lines:
  • console
  • vty
• relativeLine—Relative number for a line; see the line name field in the show users command output
