clear arp

Syntax

clear [ ip ] arp [ vrf vrfName ] { ipAddress interfaceType interfaceSpecifier | * }

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Clears entries from the ARP cache. There is no no version.

Options

• vrfName—Name of the VRF; string of 1–32 alphanumeric characters
• ipAddress—IP address in 32-bit dotted-decimal format of the entry to be cleared
• interfaceType—Interface type; see Interface Types and Specifiers
• interfaceSpecifier—Particular interface; format varies according to interface type; see Interface Types and Specifiers
• *—Clears all dynamic ARP entries
