You can manage subscriber sessions in customer networks using a combination of configured policies and broadband remote access (B-RAS) applications on E Series routers. Policy management enables network service providers to configure services that customize the treatment of individual packet flows received on a subscriber’s interface.
The B-RAS application aggregates the output from digital subscriber line access multiplexers (DSLAMs) and routes traffic into the service provider's backbone. It also performs authentication, authorization, and accounting functions for subscriber sessions. You can also collect accounting information and statistics for subscriber service sessions.
This page provides information about the JunosE Software features that you can use to manage subscribers using the B-RAS and policy management applications running on E Series routers.
