Syntax

[ no ] ntp broadcast [ version number ] [ pollInterval ]

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Enables NTP broadcast server on a server interface to transmit NTP broadcast packets periodically. You can enable up to 100 NTP broadcast server interfaces. The no version prevents the interface from sending NTP broadcast packets.

Options

• number—Integer in the range 1–4; indicates the version of the NTP software on the NTP broadcast server; default value is 3
• pollInterval—Integer in the range 4–17; specifies the poll interval in seconds (as a power of 2) for broadcasting NTP messages; default value is 6 (64 seconds)
