Multinetting and Ethernet
Ethernet interfaces, except for bridged Ethernet interfaces, support multinetting; that is, adding more than one IP address to an IP interface. If you want to add multiple IP addresses to a single IP interface, use the ip address command with the secondary keyword, which is described in the chapter Configuring IP in JunosE IP, IPv6, and IGP Configuration Guide.
