For IP and IPv6 rate-limit profiles:

For L2TP rate-limit profiles:

For MPLS rate-limit profiles:
[ no ] exceeded-action { drop | transmit | mark-exp expValue }
For hierarchical rate-limit profiles:
[ no ] exceeded-action { drop | transmit [ conditional | final ] }

Description
Sets the action for packets not conforming to the committed rate and committed burst size, and not conforming to the peak rate and peak burst size. The no version restores the default, drop.
Options
- drop—Drops the packet
- transmit—Transmits the packet; for hierarchical
rate limits:
- conditional—Packets must pass the next rate limit
- final—Packets exit the hierarchy at rate limit
- markVal—Marks value in the range 0–255; mark actions ar not supported on hierarchical rate limits
- expValue—EXP bit value in the range 0–7
