neighbor { ipAddress | ipv6Address | peerGroupName } site-of-origin siteOfOrigin
no neighbor { ipAddress | ipv6Address | peerGroupName } site-of-origin
Command introduced before JunosE Release
7.1.0.
ipv6Address variable added
in JunosE Release 8.0.0.
Specifies a site of origin that is added to the extended communities list in each route received from the specified peer, unless the extended communities list already includes a site of origin. When routes are advertised to the peer, routes whose extended communities list contain this site of origin are filtered out and not advertised to the peer. After you issue this command, the site of origin is applied to all routes that are received or advertised. The session is not bounced.
The no version removes the site of origin for the peer.
![]() | Note: To apply the new policy to routes that are already present in the BGP routing table, you must use the clear ip bgp command to perform a soft clear or hard clear of the current BGP session. |
