line-card switch primarySlotNum

Command introduced in JunosE Release 11.3.0.

Description

Enables a switchover to the secondary line module in a high availability pair of line modules, when the primary line module stops functioning or encounters a fault. A switchover to the secondary module occurs only if you previously activated line module high availability on the router using the mode high-availability slot command. There is no no version.

Options

• primarySlotNum—Number of the slot in which the line module configured as the primary resides in the router; for the E120 router, a number in the range 0–5; for the E320 router, a number in the range 0–5 or 11–16
