Displaying Boot Information

show boot

• Use to show the current boot settings.
• Example

  host1#show boot
  System Release:         release.rel
  System Configuration:   running-configuration
  

  Note: This system is not configured with backup settings.

show hardware

• Use to display detailed information about the system hardware.
• Field descriptions
  • slot—Physical slot that contains the module
  • type—Type of module
  • serial number—Serial number of the module
  • assembly number—Part number of the module
  • assembly rev—Hardware revision of the module
  • ram (MB)—Memory capacity of the host processor
  • number of MAC addresses—Total number of Ethernet addresses on an I/O module
  • base MAC address—Lowest Ethernet address on an I/O module
