Syntax

metric globalDefault [ level-1 | level-2 ]

no metric [ level-1 | level-2 ]

Command introduced in JunosE Release 9.0.0.

Description

Sets the metric to the same value for all active IS-IS IPv4 and IPv6 interfaces at the specified level. If you do not specify level 1 routers or level 2 routers, then the metric is applied to both level 1 and level 2 routers. The no version restores the individual default value, 10.

Options

• globalDefault—Metric used for all IS-IS interfaces; a number in the range 1–16777215; overridden by the isis metric command
• level-1—Configuration applies only to level 1 routing
• level-2—Configuration applies only to level 2 routing
