Syntax

t1 channel [ /subchannel ] description name

no t1 channel [ /subchannel ] description

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Assigns a text description or an alias to a T1 or fractional T1 channel on a CT3 module. Use the show controllers t1 command to display the text description. The no version removes the description or alias.

Options

• channel—One or more individual T1 channels, ranges of T1 channels, or combination of individual channels and ranges, in the range 1–28 (no spaces); for example, 3,7-15,19-13,27
• subchannel—FT1 subchannel on a T1 interface in the range 1–24
• name—Text string or alias of up to 80 characters for the T1 or fractional T1 channel on the CT3 module
