Syntax

mpls ldp neighbor ipAddress password passwordString

[ no ] mpls ldp neighbor ipAddress password

Release Information

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Configures the password used to compute MD5 checksums for authenticating the specified LDP neighbor when the peer attempts to establish a TCP connection. The no version deletes the password for the peer.

Options

• ipAddress—IP address of remote peer
• passwordString—Password; alphanumeric string in the range 1–40 characters
