Syntax

exec-timeout minutes [ seconds ]

no exec-timeout

Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.

Description

Sets the time interval that the console or vty line waits for expected user input. The no version restores the default value, which is no time limit.

Options

• minutes—Number of minutes for the time limit; in the range from 0 to 35791
• seconds—Number of seconds in addition to the minutes for the time limit; in the range from 0 to 2147483
