Statement introduced in Release 10.2 of Junos OS.

Description

Manually download and install the application package for Junos OS application identification. The application package is extraced from the IDP signature database and contains definitions for known applications, such as: DNS, Facebook, FTP, Skype, and SNMP.

Options

version—(Optional) Download a specific version of the application package from the Juniper security web site. If you do not enter a version, the most recent version will be downloaded.
