Description

Disable SIP registration so that the SIP trunk does not register to the peer proxy server.

For some SIP networks, the peer proxy server is aware of all media gateways. For such a configuration, it is not necessary for the SRX Series MGW to register to the peer proxy server. If it were to do so, it would introduce additional network load unnecessarily.

Note: Disabling registration for the peer proxy server does not affect registration for FXS stations on the device. They must still register to the SRX Series MGW.

Options

disable—Disables registration of the SIP trunk to the peer proxy server.

enable—Enables registration of the SIP trunk to the peer proxy server.
