Release Information

Statement introduced in Release 10.0 of Junos OS.

Description

Specify the name of a route policy whose additional information specifies how to route calls from one trunk to another or to a SIP peer call server. The two trunks can be different types, for example, one trunk can be an FXO trunk and the other can be an FXS trunks. When this feature is used, calls are routed through the media gateway, as opposed to originating or terminating on it or stations connected to the gateway. The routing decision is based on the incoming trunk rather than the called party number or pattern, as is the case with use of route patterns.
