purge-time-interval

Release Information
Statement introduced in Release 10.2 of Junos OS.
Description
Specify a purge time interval to determine when the voice daemon writes accounting call records that it generates and collects to a system memory file.
A profile configuration specifies a purge time interval and a batch size. When the batch size is reached, the voice daemon writes the records to the system memory file. If the purge time is reached first, the voice daemon writes the existing records to a file in memory, regardless of the number of records collected.
The batch size and the purge time interval work together to ensure that records the voice daemon collects are written to a system memory file at a specified point to avoid loss if the voice daemon crashes.
![]() | Note: Despite these precautions, the voice daemon can crash before either the batch size or the purge time interval is reached, in which case the generated and collected call records are lost. They are not written to a file in system memory. |
Options
purge-time-interval—Time after which the voice daemon writes records to a file if the purge interval occurs before the batch size is met.
