Release Information

Statement introduced in Release 10.0 of Junos OS.

Description

Configure the duration in seconds when the peer call server must respond to keepalive messages from the SRX Series survivable call server (SRX Series SCS) for the SRX Series SCS to assume that it has recovered from the fault condition and is reachable and reliable.

The SRX Series SCS measures whether the peer call server has recovered based on the percent of responses it receives during this watch period. The response-threshold statement specifies this requirement.

If the peer call server meets the response requirement, the SRX Series SCS assumes that the fault condition no longer exists, and it returns control to the peer call server. Otherwise the survivable call server continues to maintain control.

Options

monitor-timeout—Period when the survivable call server watches the peer call server to determine if it is reachable.

Range: 5–20 seconds
Default: 16 seconds
