Release Information
Statement introduced in Release 10.2 of Junos OS.
Description
Configure a profile to specify when the voice daemon writes accounting call records to a file in system memory. Records written to the file are separated by commas.
The voice daemon generates and collects the records until either a specified record batch size is met or the specified purge time occurs.
You specify a batch size that determines how many records the voice daemon collects before it writes them to the file. If the purge time occurs first, the voice daemon writes the records to the file at that time, regardless of the number of records collected.
The batch size and the purge time interval work together to ensure that records the voice daemon generates and collects are written to a file in memory at a specified point to avoid loss if the voice daemon crashes.
![]() | Note: Despite these precautions, the voice daemon can crash before either the batch size or the purge time interval is reached, in which case the generated and collected call records are lost. They are not written to the system memory file. |
