Release Information
Statement introduced in Release 10.2 of Junos OS.
Description
Configure the name of a profile that specifies a batch size to determine how many records the voice daemon generates and collects before it writes them to a file in system memory. You also configure a purge time interval. If the configured purge time interval occurs first, the voice daemon writes the records to the file at that time, regardless of the number of records collected.
The profile is referred to as a comma-separated profile because the voice daemon uses commas to separate records when it writes them to the system memory file.
The batch size and the purge time interval work together to ensure that records the voice daemon collects are written to the system memory file at a specified point to avoid loss if the voice daemon crashes.
![]() | Note: Despite these precautions, the voice daemon can crash before either the batch size or the purge time interval is reached, in which case the generated and collected call records are lost. They are not written to the system memory file. |
To protect loss of data that can occur if the device is rebooted, at 15–minute intervals, the voice daemon writes the files in system memory to either a server or to flash memory to be archived.
![]() | Note: If the system crashes before the file containing the call records is written either to flash memory or to an FTP server to be archived, the records that the voice daemon generated and collected are lost. |
Options
csv-profile-name—Name of a profile specifying parameters to manage when the voice daemon is to write call records to a system memory file.
