Description

Specify the extension number for users to call to retrieve their voicemail when the survivable call server is in control.

The voicemail server is the same one that is used when the peer call server provides voicemail services. In this case, however, the survivable call server accesses the voicemail server using an external PSTN connection.

Two numbers are configured to provide access to voicemail:

• The remote access number of the server.
• An extension number that users can call instead of dialing the longer remote access number. This is statement specifies that extension number.

Options

extension-number—Voicemail extension number for users to call when the survivable call server is in control. This number corresponds to the remote access number for the voicemail server.
