Release Information

Statement introduced in Release 10.0 of Junos OS.

Description

For the analog template or the sip template, specify the name of a predefined class of restriction configuration containing one or more policies each of which specifies a type of call and whether the call is allowed or denied.

When you apply a template to a station, its parameter values are assigned to the station. If the station does not have a class of restriction configuration, the one specified by the template applies to it, and its policies are enforced for the station. For example, if a policy specifies that international calls are allowed, the station’s telephone user is permitted to make an international call.

Note: If both the station and the template specify a class-of-restriction configuration, the station’s configuration takes precedence over the template’s.

Apart from the trunk call type which applies to the SRX Series MGW media gateway (SRX Series MGW) only, class of restriction policies are effective when the SRX Series SCS is in control.

Note: Emergency and intra-branch calls are allowed by default for all stations.
