class-of-restriction (station)

Release Information
Statement introduced in Release 10.0 of the Junos OS.
Description
Specify the name of a predefined class of restriction configuration containing one or more policies each of which specifies a type of call and whether the call is allowed or denied.
When you apply a class of restriction configuration to a station, its policies are enforced for that station. For example, if a policy specifies that international calls are allowed and the configuration containing that policy is applied to a station, the user of that station’s telephone is permitted to make an international call, given that the SRX Series SCS dial plan supports it.
Apart from the trunk call type which applies to the SRX Series media gateway (SRX Series MGW) only, class of restriction policies are effective when the SRX Series SCS is in control.
![]() | Note: Emergency and intrabranch calls are allowed by default for all stations. |
